Full Home Renovation/Addition to this great block in Maroubra.
This was a full scale renovation/first floor addition and rear extension to the existing semi-detached home in Maroubra. It was a great project to be a part of as the owners are very environmentally conscious and many of the materials we used were either recycled or had a very low impact on our environment. It was also a very Architecturally designed home with many great design features.
Materials such as recycled hardwood timber were used for the timber flooring/kitchen bench top/stair treads/balusters/decking/posts and external screens. Porters zero VOC paints were used for the walls and ceilings, waterbased paint was used for the kitchen and associated joinery, recycled ply woods. We installed water tanks which feed the toilets and gardens, solar boosted gas hot water system.
